Products & Materials
The choices made during design and sourcing can have a significant influence on a product's overall impact. Wherever possible, we prioritize materials that are reusable, recyclable, or compostable, and we’re actively working to phase out unnecessary single-use plastics.
Whether it’s FSC-certified paper, responsibly sourced soy wax, RSPO-certified materials or improved packaging solutions, we are continually challenging how products are designed, used and ultimately disposed of. Our partnership with Ecosurety also helps us better understand packaging impacts and drive improvements where they matter most.
Materials
The materials we choose influence everything from environmental impacts to human rights within supply chains. Wherever practical, we seek responsibly sourced materials and work with recognised certification schemes that promote improved environmental and social outcomes.

Packaging
We continually review opportunities to reduce unnecessary packaging, increase recycled content where appropriate and improve recyclability. This includes reducing single-use plastics where practical and designing packaging that is easier for customers to recycle.
Understanding these impacts requires good data. Through our partnership with Ecosurety, we are strengthening our understanding of packaging materials across our product portfolio, supporting compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation while identifying opportunities to improve packaging design and material efficiency.

Designed for End of Life
Even the best-designed product eventually reaches the end of its life. That's why we're working to make disposal as straightforward as possible for our customers.
Wherever possible, packaging is designed to be recyclable and includes clear recycling guidance to help consumers dispose of materials correctly. We're also increasing the use of recycled materials across applicable product ranges to support a more circular approach to resource use.
For products designed to last beyond their original purpose, we also encourage reuse wherever practical. Many of our candle vessels, for example, are intentionally designed to be repurposed or refilled, extending their useful life beyond the first burn.
